Specialising in the selection of Grands Crus and small châteaux, the SCHRÖDER & SCHŸLER wine trading company has been writing its history since 1739 and is a proven expert in winemaking and brand creation.
Founded nearly 280 years ago, SCHRÖDER & SCHŸLER is one of the oldest family-owned houses specialised in the wine trade in Bordeaux. Yann Schÿler, the current director, is today the 8th generation of the family to lead the company.
The Schÿler family is also the owner of Château Kirwan (Margaux - Grand Cru Classé of 1855).
Just like the trading house, this prestigious château is one of the very few large properties remaining in family hands.
A merchant house dedicated
to Bordeaux wines
Almost 3 centuries of international and local trade have shaped SCHRÖDER & SCHŸLER’s expertise in providing Bordeaux wines. Its own brands are the best evidence of that know-how, furthered by its rigorous selection of preferred châteaux.
This expertise is accompanied by another savoir-faire: the purchasing of classified wines.
Through extensive knowledge of the vineyards and excellent relations with their owners, the SCHRÖDER & SCHŸLER company has become a key player in the purchase of Bordeaux wines, both in en primeur wine futures and in sales.
In order to ensure the finest care of its wines, SCHRÖDER & SCHŸLER operates an innovative warehouse and packaging site, guaranteeing excellent storage and logistical traceability.
